Please read pp. 311--359 of the .pdf copy Jobs bio for next Tuesday, 30 April.  You can pretty much bet there will be a quiz or related activity associated with this reading assignment.

5 April - Assignment for Tuesday, 9 April

For this assignment, I would like you to briefly compare the film you just watched with the material you have been reading in the Steve Jobs biography? Based on what you read, how accurate do you think the film was with regard to the relationship between Gates and Jobs? Was the film effective as entertainment? What were some differences between the film and actual events that you noticed? What were some of the qualities in the characterizations of Gates and Jobs in the film that made them successful as business pioneers? Finally did you find the film entertaining or valuable as tool for teaching about business or did you find it lacking? Please give your opinion with supporting details. This should be a minimum half page maximum 1 page. Please refer to at least one specific detail from the book and film in your answer. 1.0 spacing, 12 point font, Times New Roman font. Post this on your blog by next Tuesday.

1 April - Jobs Reading Assignment for Friday 5 April

Read the rest of the Jobs biography for Wednesday. There will be an Extended Essay exam in class that day on the reading selection as well. JUST KIDDING. April Fools! The actual reading assignment is to read pp. 260--310 for Friday. Expect some kind of quiz/class discussion on the reading.

Please read Jobs, pp. 200-260 for Monday, 25 March. There will be a brief quiz/discussion on the reading selection that day in class.

Also, study the material you worked on (your group question) so that you may answer questions from your classmates on Monday.  You will not be able to use notes to answer the questions from your fellow students.
